New platforms took over, AI started giving weird answers, and marketers scrambled. Meanwhile… Surfers made it look easy. Let’s rewind.
January showed us Google’s AI lies with confidence.
Gouda domination, anyone?
To bring some clarity to the AI chaos, we launched the AI Tracker beta.
AI Overviews proved they could steal everyone else’s clicks.
Result? CTRs dropped, spammy AI content got flagged, and brand mentions became the new backlinks.
